Airing down tires on dually for beach

I have a 2019 f350 dually that I will be taking on the beach with truck camper.
1) what devices do you use to air down tires that is accurate.
2) also what extensions do you use for inner tires it looks like the valve stem is at a bad angle toward rim for extensions

  • I use these. Got it on Amazon for 20 bucks works great.

    Teraflex 4807200 Air Deflator
Check these out. There are four screwed together. You screw one on each tire and you can check the pressure with a gauge and unscrew when at the right psi.

These are a great product. JMHO
  • I use Staun Tyre Deflators. Work great.

  • Lot more to driving on the beach than just airing down. Popular Mechanics is one article.

  • In general for airing down with ease, I used an ARB brand tool recently that hooks on, removes valve stem, air out to whatever you want and easily screw valve stem in.
Very slick and I want one just for general duty on the trucks and cars around the house.
Now, the volume of air required to get 6 tires back up to highway air is another story, do you have a decent compressor you can run off a genny?
  • Make sure your tires and rims have a safety bead.

If commercial (half inch), they do NOT have a safety bead, so they can NOT be aired down to where class P and LT tires are for sand

Losing a bead on a commercial tire out there would mean a tough time getting them to reseat their beads....been there done that with 16.5” dia tires (load range F)

As for airing them down or back up...any air source that has the volume/PSI will do. I’ve never touched dually’s for off road, so don’t know any of the HOW2’s for that. Good luck finding what info you need
