I'm thinking of buying one of these and would really appreciate your comments. The guy builds beautiful rigs and knows what he's doing, IMO. I'm tired of dragging big rigs around (currently have a 17' trailer, big to me) and want to go back to a simple and easy way to get into the backcountry. I don't need many amenities. I would get a Toyota Tacoma to haul it around.
Thoughts? These start at around 6k w/o much inside, are made of W. red cedar. The website has photos of the interior - beautiful work. I've talked to him about his construction methods and they seem very sound. It's pretty carefree, but would need a coat of poly every couple of years. Thanks in advance.

This is an example of someone that has been a longtime member here that posted a photo without regard of the width limitation (The poster's photo is 1,500 wide, more than twice the limit for posting). The post has been up and not corrected. Sometimes the moderators can't keep up and they are not on every minute. I would suggest that we police ourselves too. To be honest the greatest number of people that post in excess of the width requirement are ones that have been around longer than 3 years or more. So maybe we should not rely on the moderators to do it for us.
As for Whazoo, I too did not have any issue with his pictures being too wide and the need to scroll to read the narrative. Personally I don't like having oversized photos as the screens I use makes it difficult to see the photos and almost impossible to read the narrative when they are so small in size and a single line of a mile or two.
Another point too is that people just stopped going to his Trip Reports and the counts showed that. A Trip Report he did a month ago was half of the comments and visits another post about some relationship on being on the road with a spouse, that did not have any pictures or additional effort from the poster. Many will look and not leave a comment, or even click on a Trip report. Praise the people that make the posts, posts the pictures by leaving a comment. If anything it gives that poster an affirmation that their efforts are appreciated and an indication of what topics are of interest.
Oh, yeah. Thinking that your leaving the forum will be noticed or a silent protest, there have been many Ole' Timers gone for a long time, or posters that are gone a year or more, like Whazoo, DJ, DB3500 and btggraphix and nobody really noticed or commented. Like water filling into a glass, your leaving will be replaced by others, commenting and posting. What will be missed is your experience, guidance and personality. What will prosper will be posters like Slackercruster, remember him?
The changing of his photos wasn't what caused him to leave, again, it was just the final straw for him that he followed through with a comment he made in this forum more than a year ago. I will miss Whazoo and be grateful for the time he blessed us with his humor, experience and personality.
Safe travels.

Edit: I removed the poster's name/handle so as not to cause his embarrassment for posting a photo beyond the forum's limits (Unknowingly, by his statement)
