I've run mine up to 260 several times and then bought a digital gauge for the dash. Dash gauges are notoriously incorrect. Mine is off by 30 degrees. I pull La Veta Pass Co which is 31 miles up hill and everything gets hot with 18,500 lbs. I can run 45 up it.
