Alternative to an Airstream's quality and beautiful windows?

If I could make my ideal airstream it'd have the following:

6-10" more ground clearance, and under-frame storage. I'd love to be able to put a battery bay underneath the floor, near the axle, and get some solar chargers on the roof to charge it.

But I realize I'm not going to be able to have it all with every solution. I have the fabrication skills to modify an older airstream to do this, but I'm ready to hit the road now, and I don't want a 1-2 year project.
