As for 5th wheelers and huge campers with slide outs in general. If I planned on spending all my time in huge RV Parks I would buy one. But my wife and I plan to see the United States of America. So we are buying a travel trailer. An Airstream.

And the talk earlier about the panoramic windows being of little utility due to camp spots and such is short sided. Like many other untruths regarding Airstreams and the kind of people that own them. If you take two minutes to look at the Airstream website you will see numerous front and rear bedroom layouts. That allows you to choose which end is street side. Assuming your in a campground, as many Airstreams go elsewhere. Because they can, being travel trailers...
I'm not sure what motivates some of the negative Airstream ramblings here. But anyone interested that reads further, like on Airforums, will quickly see what I'm saying. Far more friendly group from all walks of life than here. See for yourself.

In the frame section you will find many issues with broken frames, sagging frames, rusted frames, etc. You will find several issues on just the first page. You will find excuses that the TV was too heavy or the WDH bars were too strong.
If you really want some fun, do a search of the 22' models from the early 2000s.
