Your observation brings me back to what I was trying to get across. Most trailers with a WDH set up incorrectly, won't break the trailer frame.
That's the problem with an optimized design. It doesn't take much noise to exceed the capacity of the design.
I have a three foot pile of worn out WHD hitches sitting in the middle of my garage. I will not use one. I choose to invest the money in a heavier truck.
