We are indifferent on the exterior/silver bullet look. There's nothing wrong with it, and it's a classic look, but what made us fall in love with the airstream is the interior. And I'm not just talking a "luxury" feel (which we didn't pick up on). We liked the solid furniture, great layout, and modern look and feel. Most other RVs feel like a best western with their decor. Granted, decor isn't everything, but if we're going to be calling it home for the next few years, I'd like it to feel inviting.
We're interested in checking out bigfoot trailers in person. The decor doesn't seem to be amazing, but the construction quality and insulation are supposed to be great. We really like the olivers, but their biggest model is just a little too small for us.
