Aluminum Battery Box

Hi All,
Need to find an aluminum battery box to fit my Jayco Jay Flight 29rlds.
The steel L channels will accommodate a 23" long box but need to have 7.5" width.
Any suggestions on a manufacturer??

  • I have two 12v batteries in this aluminum box by Torklift. They also have several other sizes to fit various different batteries.

Don't rule out you can also add some angle strips to the top of the trailer tongue and extend out over both sides of the tongue area...

If you are needing to add two or more batteries doing this solves the problem rather well...

You can get one of the 48-inch side mount truck bed boxes and these will hold up to four each GC2 6VDC golf cart batteries mounted on top of the trailer tongue...

    Look something like this...

  • http://www.rvlockbox.com/ has nice locking ones. Recommend the longer one even for DC24 batteries so you have extra space inside.
