The solution is a gooseneck trailer with a large lavish TC up front and the boat with its trailer strapped down in the rear. You dump the gooseneck where you'd normally dump your wife in the Nash, and hit the trail in your now-empty truck, or unload the boat and tow it to the river/lake.
