Pulling power on one thing, holding up the camper and cargo is another.
Do not know what drove you to the F350 in the 1st place however there is a significant difference in payload capacity. That may or may not be a problem. You seem to be questioning yourself.
Do you know the cargo (gear and people)weights in the truck when camping, loaded TW of the camper, did you check that this fits within the new F150? You stated max tow, but did not mention max payload package.
See this post now ongoing. While it started out asking about stability while towing the owner is now realizing they do not have the correct payload package on their new F150.
