And I wouldn't tow an 8000 pound trailer with ANY half ton, period. We pack a lot of stuff when we go away, GCVW of 20-21k pounds, our trailer has a GVW of 10k, yours is 8k, not a really big difference.
Main difference is I live in BC and travel a lotta hills when we go away, you're in Sask where it's flat.
No way I'd sell my diesel if I was you, it's only 5km, 3 miles, I'd get into a carpool, use public transit, walk to work, take my bike, buy a little piss pot commuter car for work before even thinking of that. I think you made a big mistake...
