I drive 50-75 miles every day. The exhaust cleaning issue for short commutes would drive me crazy due to the poor performance while cleaning. Then you have to find a nice 10-20 mile run to get it to complete the cycle. I would have to sell the truck if I only had the 5 mile commute.
Our 2014 runs its cleaning cycle in less than a minute and has no noticeable effect on performance. My wife drives the truck to work every day (about 20 miles) on the freeway.
