The 2010 just got done doing most of its depreciating.
But running an empty diesel for commuting is financially painful.
But buying a new F150 and starting the depreciation curve all over again is also painful.
The depreciation on a new F150 would buy a lot of diesel for the more capable, older truck.
I have no idea which option is better financially, but the older truck is a better truck in my opinion. Those first 3 years of depreciation are brutal.
