Possible, but unlikely... where I live in northern California we never have winter diesel fuel.

Um, she's pretty funny... so I'll leave this one as a "maybe".

I honestly believe that there's some significant difference in the fuels... or something else that changes when I fill-up (e.g. changes in the fit of the fuel cap). I just haven't yet been able to prove that this is the case.
