When we're out walking on a cold morning there and there is slight breeze, we don't feel it until walking into the cold.
Magnify that by a camper and truck at 65 mph and it WILL make a difference in mileage.
It would be disingenuous to ignore this seemingly innocuous physical condition. "Dead calm" over a tank full of fuel would be hard to believe.
