The fuel industry recommends NOT topping off the GASOLINE tanks of modern vehicles due to too high a fuel level possibly damaging the vehicles sensor and/or emissions componts. Supposedly this practice can lead to costing money to repair the vehicle.
Not trying to hijack this thread. Just thought it was worth a mention. If someone has good information on this, or wants to bounce this around a bit, maybe a new thread?
