Some of you folks are way too hypersensitive in your thinking as to how level an absorption fridge really has to be to work properly. If you are level enough that a glass doesn't slide off the table then that is level enough for one of those fridges. I just boondocked in the mountains two weekends ago and the field was very unlevel. I was kicking myself for not bringing more leveling blocks. Needless to say I was nowhere near level, but my fridge kept my beer extremely cold and would even freeze water bottles overnight.
I also use a fan to blow over the coils; it uses very little power. Didn't even affect my 6v batteries over 4 days. Temps were in the high 80s and sunny.
