We have been full timing for a year with a NovaKool 9.1 cu-ft 12V (24V on our bank) compressor fridge and it has been excellent.
No worry about flame while driving. No worry about propane leak or ammonia leak. Don't need to be level. It uses about 600 watt-hr per 24 hour period true but this is nothing when you have 1100 watts of solar panels. The freezer section keeps stuff at about 5 to 10 degrees F when the fridge is set at about 36 F, which is nice for ice cream other stuff.
The parking in the woods is the only problem, but we use our laptops and gaming systems so much that there would be issues even with a propane fridge and no sun.
I actually have started using a 900 watt 12 cup Mr. Coffee maker in the morning now that it is spring time. Solar coffee!
