I'll just put this simply, I changed to a compressor refrigerator several years ago and haven't had any regrets for doing so. Its nice to reach in and pull out a ice cold drink (34-36 degrees) when its a 110 degrees outside, the propane unit could never come close to those type of temperatures in 110 degrees temperature.
It worth the upgrade in battery power you need, my compressor unit is a Domentic CR1110 that has the Danfoss compressor.
