Those guys over there at BITOG are very knowledgeable about this stuff. It's easy to get lost in some of the conversations there about oil.
I intended to use Mobile 1 as I have had great service from Mobile 1 in the past. Since Mobile 1 is not Chrysler MS-6395N compliant I went with Amsoil. Cost is not a major factor as the price between 6 quarts of Mobile 1 and 6 Quarts of Amsoil OE is negligible.
Not a fan of Quaker State or Pennsoil. Valvoline and Casterol have served me well in the past. I even ran Supertec for years in a 2002 Impala with no problems.
This is my first experience with Amsoil... So we will see how it goes. This is the nicest vehicle we have ever owned so I am splurging some on it. Probably will do the same with my Laramie Ram I hope to buy in the next year or so too.
