All the different oil companies claim theirs is the magic elixir.
Example: I've been a motorcyclist since the 1960's. In the last 30 years or so, so the oil companies have made an ( extra ) fortune using scare tactics telling motorcycle owners they must use motorcycle specific oils or dire damage will occur.
Well fellas....out in the garage right now, I have two street bikes....a BMW with 140,000 miles on it, and a Honda 929 sportbike with 88,000 miles. Both run good old Mobil One "car oil", that I buy off the shelf at Wally world or the auto parts store( whoever has it on sale ). They both run fine, use no oil, etc.
All I'm saying is I am, indeed, "very skeptical" when I hear outrageous claims about these different oils. Especially when it's a "specialty brand" that is charging more than the normal street brands that I can buy in any retailer of choice.
