Check the specs for storage temps. If you will regularly store your TC outside of that range, you will need to bring the TV inside to prevent damage to the display. Most that I have seen are something like -20F to 150F. I bring mine in from the MH in the winter, but leave them in MH rest of the year. Get a sturdy mount.

Unless you always have AC power available when you park, consider a 12 V replacement TV. They aren't common but can be found. Small ones are not very expensive and don't draw much power.
Oh, and the antenna should work as good as it ever did; maybe even a bit better.

Buy a better quality one with good speakers. LG and Samsung are two of the best. They aren't much more in the smaller ones. Consider buying an articulating mount if you don't have one. You don't say how you are currently mounted. But adding a strap if you don't have one is also a good ideas if the TV is moving while underway.

As others have said, the old antenna will work.

Some people like 12v models to avoid the need for an inverter.

The 12 volt TV’s use less juice as your not running the inverter. We have a 12 volt Jensen 21 inch on a swivel bracket.
Have never removed TV’s in any of our present or past RV’s daughter lives over in Alberta where the temp in the winter often hits well below -30c and they have never removed there TV’s in any of there rigs either. Not saying it is not required, just never did it and never had any issues.

It's ok for the TV to be STORED in temperatures outside of the recommended range, especially cold, so long as you don't try to USE it in those temperatures.

Look for a set with an external 12v power supply. That way you can run it right off the house batteries and don't have the wasted energy of going through a converter to make 115v then an internal power supply to revert back to 12v.

Out of curiosity, those of you running TV directly off 12v- do you unplug when not using?
The over head (self consumption) on our inverter is 60-90ma. Stand by (off) for the TV is almost that if left plugged in. When using inverter for something else I unplug TV so inverter is not also supplying TVs standby draw.

I've just never seen anyone mention unplugging a direct 12v powered TV, seems it wouldn't take very long to use more battery than using inverter for a few hours verse TV plugged in on standby 24/7 if directly connected to battery?

To the OP,
only real drawback on newer TV is the sound quality, hopefully can 'hear' before buying. Minimal power consumption though makes up for it.

Yes. Unless I'm plugged into shore power.....and then I don't worry about it.
