I had a 2001 bronco 1200 and there was a crease and small crack on the passenger-side front from the previous owner. I caulked it up but the wood in the roof was already pretty crunchy. Turns out a lot of the seams in the roof had slight leaks that, even through I metal taped and sealed them as best I could, leaked enough to cause further damage. It was a great little camper for the deal I got on it, and I got lots of use out of it before we traded up earlier this year to a hard-side. Watch that roof-crank mechanism! It can slip and drop the roof on your dome. No fun that.
