Seems a reasonable match depending on payload of your vehicle

Weekend trips less than 100 miles seems perfectly reasonable.

GCWR probably 16000 so pay attention......that will probably be the only limiting factor.....good luck

Good luck......check your manual to verify the 16K......you should be fine with your rig, but be aware of the combined weight of truck and trailer.....you may have to keep stuff that you take light.....plus pull with empty tanks...and half fuel.....

As stated here many times. Load the truck up with family and all gear you will camp with..

Then take it to a cat scale and get the individual axle ratings of the truck.

Compare those #'s to the GVAWR on the door tag. Subtract the scale weights from the tag weights. That will tell you the payload left and what you can town.

You may be suprised at what you get..

Depends. How big of a family do you have? What do they weigh? how much payload is left after the family, dog, in my case the rack for the canoe, generator, cross bed tool box etc. My 96 CC 9200 gvwr rig had all of 600-700 lbs of payload left of 2400 for trailer hitch wt. I would have overloaded my truck with the trailer the op is looking at.

There is more to what is a safe tow setup than tow ratings only!

Or if you want to buy a bigger truck then the answer is "No but we can get a bigger truck and tow it".
