Except he left around 2011. And they actually liked the Ram 2500 in the OP's link. - Engineer9860Explorer

You have to realize the premier Cummins site requires a subscription. RV.net is free. - Engineer9860Explorer

Other than the Ford SuperDuty front suspension it looks like the same old truck.
It may look the same, but clearly, you missed a lot in the article....
Besides the front suspension changes, it also has the strongest frame in the industry (50,000 psi), game changer coil spring rear suspension (2500) and/or air suspension, 3 stage/setting exhaust brake in the diesel, highest 2500 series tow ratings gas and diesel (2500 RAM ratings are the same as the other guys 3500 ratings), most hp and tq in class in the gas engine, most tq with the diesel engine, most hp in the gas engines, only gas engine with variable displacement in a HD truck....etc.

Clearly I didn't miss a thing in the article.
I took the opportunity to let you Dodge guys read posts similar to the posts in the threads from three years ago when GM upgraded their chassis. Remember? IIRC some posters in this thread were poopooing GM for not changing the sheet metal.
Anyhow, good for Dodge to side step the status quo. Placing torsion bars on all four corners shows that they are looking to move the mark. The coil spring/three link suspension was done by GM back in the 60's. Almost every OTR class 8 truck with air ride over the last 40 years used a suspension design like the 1960's GMs. So it has been tried. We'll see if it is something consumers will lock onto. When the Ford SUVs went to the coil spring rear there were some complaints on how they handled a trailer over the leaf type suspension that proceeded it.
Now that Dodge is looking to unseat GM in the ride quality department you guys are going to have to change your "it's a truck so it should ride like a truck" claims. ;) - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerI'm not a Pickuptrucks.com fan. If you need anymore prof that they are nothing more then an extension of Ford's media arm, go to their website click on the manufacture link. Then click on each manufacture here is what you will find.
For ford the first two pages are articles dating from the months of September & August. Gm the first two articles are about Ford. Then the Dodge has only one page with nothing newer then Aug., 17! Note I said to click on the manufacture link here Itguy.
