Another shock question

I was afraid of that. Read another website that said something about some of them were on national backorder. I did do some checking and the part number for the 4600 and B6 were the same for my truck, 24-184854, so they are the same shock.

FYI - I just ordered a set of the 4600s for my truck (2001 Dodge Ram) from shockwarehouse.com and was informed that one pair (I believe it is the rears) is on national backorder, so my delivery is delayed 2-3 weeks.

BTW, Geno's Garage does indeed sell the 4600 series Bilstein, but they list it as the "B6" series on their website.

I have the 5100's for 0" lift and they are great!

From what I've seen online when they just list them as Heavy Duty they're referring to the B6, which are also blue and yellow. But if I'm going to spend the money on new shocks I want the ones that will work the best for my purpose. So guess I'll stick with the 4600's.

So I'm guessing that it depends on if the shocks are for a car/suv or truck might be the difference. But, according to them, if I order the Heavy Duty I'll get the right ones. Hope I'm right.

The 4600's are correct for your truck. genosgarage.com is a great place to buy them along with many other RAM/Cummings products.

I've got the blue and yellows (don't remember #)on my RAM and they made a huge difference. Completely controlled porpoising on bad freeways and dips. They soak up harsh bumps better than stockers too.
