Another tow/haul question

I didn't want to hijack the other tow/haul thread.
If you are in tow/haul mode, can you also use cruise control? It seems like they would work against each other.
With my T/C on, I always use tow/haul for all the good reasons in the other thread.
I never use cruise control but sure would like to.

Any one see any issue with this?

    You can't make general conclusion with all the variety of engines and combos.
    My new truck pulls 18,000 lb set on those 6 percent long grades on highest gear with no hesitation. No need to do anything.
    Having manual 7.3l in the past, I remember sour right elbow after such driving.
