Normally folks asking can I tow it questions give their trucks year model..... engine size....the trucks GVWR.....the trucks RAWR.....the trucks rear axle gear ratio.
From those numbers we can give you a darn close estimation of how much weight your truck can carry and pull.
I always look at the trailer dry weight and its GVWR. Some trailers have a large CCC and others a small CCC. From those numbers most folks can make a ball park max number.
A 5xxxk lb dry weight can grow by 1000-1500 lbs all depending on how its loaded.
