Any Advice on Price
Dealer is offering a 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie, DRW, CC, long bed, leather, etc for $53,500. Is this a good price for this truck? What he is offering on my trade is in line with KBB and NADA. Thanks,

- I had too much time on my hands over the weekend and talked myself out of a new truck. The 09 is fine so I think I'll stick with it for a while. Thanks for all the advice.
- MTOFELL1 - The dealer offered minimum $30K without looking and agreed to go up based on seeing the trade. KBB had value between $31K and $34K. NADA had truck around $31.5K.

There's always a catch.- If you're a Costco member go through their auto program and you'll likely get the best price out there. In shopping recently I found the prices would range from between 79-82% of MSRP.
Also, I'm curious about your trade-in being close on KBB & NADA. The 06 Duramax I tried to trade in was valued at 14,500 on KBB and 19,700 of NADA. Of course, the dealer wouldn't budge over KBB and said NADA was irrelevant. A friend who works in the car business said dealers have some influence over KBB and the trade-in values are low and the retail number are high. The benefits the dealers on both ends... of course. - If it's the truck you want and the price fits your budget, and it seems like a good deal, you should get it... :)
I got my 2013 F150 for 10k under the window sticker and all the numbers worked for me, so I have that truck in my garage now.. :)
I'm sure someone else could have gotten a few more grand knocked off or I could have kept shopping, but I'm just not a "sales" type of person and I found a truck that fit all my needs and then some, so my set of stars were aligned. :)

Is this the Laramie Longhorn at North Star? That does not have the Aisin tranny. You WANT the Aisin tranny!!!!
Dealers in that area just do not seem to have trucks with the HD Aisin tranny in stock. Which means you get tha lower output engine.
