This August I took a wrong turn down a wash trying to get to the shore @ lake Powell pulling the jet skis: self rescue: Lesson learned should have listened to my gut and took the other way round and not followed the 4runners.

several years ago in Anza Borrego had to call my brother in law for rescue: Lesson learned: as soon as you hit the dirt put it in 4wd!! stuck in 2wd and could not get it to engage in 4wd

Anza Borrego: backed into our campsite for the night and the seemingly hard pack was only crust and we sunk in good. I guess the lesson learned was to spot what is hard pack and what is not
Here had to call ranger steve came the next morning to pull me out
