several years ago in Anza Borrego had to call my brother in law for rescue: Lesson learned: as soon as you hit the dirt put it in 4wd!! stuck in 2wd and could not get it to engage in 4wd
Anza Borrego: backed into our campsite for the night and the seemingly hard pack was only crust and we sunk in good. I guess the lesson learned was to spot what is hard pack
Here had to call ranger steve came the next morning to pull me out
