Any hints on releasing the TT tongue from the ball???

been towing a TT for about a year now maybe 7 times and every time when i go to park it and release the TT tongue from the ball it just never releases without cranking the trailer up with the electric...

Sometimes when you back into a site, the ball gets jammed back against the movable lock and jams everything up. Get in the habit of once backing in, put it back in drive, and pull forward a half inch to release the pressure.
