Any hints on releasing the TT tongue from the ball???

been towing a TT for about a year now maybe 7 times and every time when i go to park it and release the TT tongue from the ball it just never releases without cranking the trailer up with the electric...

I do the jump on the bumper thing.

I have had to move the pickup a little. Sometimes just putting it in neutral and then lifting my foot off of the brake is enough to get it to pop off.
