Finally found out what was wrong...
The first MAF went bad and replaced it with a cheap-er replacement part.
Last mechanic had great test equipment... showed that the replacement part was bad also.
He installed a DELCO - OEM part and it's worked fine since.
I should have bought the OEM part the first time... lesson learned.
Glad you got it figured out. Same thing happened to me - MAF went bad, replaced it with another from Autozone, still had the same error code. Looked all over for air leaks, had a mechanic look at it...nothing. Decided to get a MAF from O’Reilly and that fixed it. Haven’t had a problem since.
