The purpose of a WDH has nothing to do with the purpose of air bags or self leveling suspensions. Please
read this primer on WD.
The Armada's receiver limit of 910 pounds is using a WDH. It likely has a lower limit for weight carrying. Check for a sticker on the recevier itself like this one as well as your owners manual.

At 510 pounds dry, I estimate you will have about 650-700 pounds of TW loaded for a long weekend. There tends to be more storage in front of TT axles than behind in most floorplans.
700 pounds of TW will add about 1000 pounds to the Armada's rear axle and remove about 300 from the front/steering axles. That is enough to adversely affect handling. In fact, most half tons seem to benefit from WD over about 400 pounds. The rear axle may be close or over capacity when adding 1000 pounds to it. Applying a WDH to restore all 300 lost pounds to the front axle will leave the rear axle with only about 575 pounds over not hitched up, with about 125 going to the TT axles.
