How many wives drive these Class 8 trucks? I'm capable of not using the clutch once I get a rig moving (without grinding the shifts) but that takes years of jamming gears. I still love my 6spd manual PU but we only have three stop light in town so not sure I'd love it in Atlanta. I went with a medium duty truck because I was putting loads too big on my 02 F350 PU... like 30K combined weight. Have to admit that an auto tranny makes for one less thing to think about in challenging situations.
