I watched the Escapees forum and finally got a very nice 2001 Kenworth T2000 plus a Smart car for a lot less then a new pick up that could tow a heavy 5th wheel ( and hopefully stop it ). Ours is a 3 pedal auto, gets around 9mpg towing with the car on the deck, so I would agree to read the HDT section on their site as those guys can answer ALL your questions. Good Luck
