Does anybody on here have the new EC or Adventure theater seating in a newer EC 1160, EC 1165 or an Adventure 116DS? Or has anybody sat in them yet? If so how comfortable are they? Are they a big enough for a person that is 6+ footer. I find so many of the RV recliners are made really small or for shorter or smaller people and someone that is taller or bigger framed can not get comfortable in them.The closest dealer that handles these brands are over 500 miles away one way so I would like to have peoples opinion before I take off just to take a look at them.I have looked at the Lance 1172 with the rear recliner sofa and it was not comfortable at all. I hate sitting at the dinette all of the time when we are in the camper. If I can't find any more comfortable seating I'll try a high grade foam in the dinette seats to see if I can't get them any more comfortable then they are now. Last year in Alaska when it was next to impossible to be outside all of the time because the mosquitos would eat you alive. I used a lot of Deet but hate to have it on all the time. Also when you set at the dinette the back is so straight up and down that I'm thinking of making something that would fit behind the cushion to allow it to lean back a bit. I have to do something.Thanks

TC Life was at the Adventurer factory in WA recently and fell in love with the large 116DS. He is over 6' tall and would be able to give details and feedback on the units he saw.

I'm picking up a 116DS next week. I sat in the recliner for about 10 minutes during my time inspecting the camper. The chairs were very comfortable during that time. I'm 5' 10" and 180 lbs with back trouble.I can let you know more next week after spending more time with it.

We have been in a 116 with theater seating.If we had a LB...we would own that camper...a whole new level of comfort in a TC.Bill

You'd be surprised what some will do with a class A. Spent a week in the Lance 1040 @ Elk City ID last summer, cruising the forest roads in the Polaris RZR. Campground manager told me of a guy from out east who came over from the Selway area, on the forest roads mind you, with a 40' diesel pusher of some kind. 40 footer, following his Garmin or some such. Guess he did many thousands of body damage but made it over the mountain. I wouldn't attempt it with the F-150 4x4 and 7'hardside I used to travel the 4x4 roads with.

Don't worry the class A wouldn't be on those roads either, but at least the truck can turnaround.

Have them in a EC 1165

I am 6'0"

They are comfortable. They don't recline as far as I was expecting.

Your going to need a Freightliner to haul that camper, these things are going south fast, pretty soon you will need a crane to lift them on and off the truck

They look really nice, probably anyone with a slide could throw out the dinette and put this in?

They were making them many years before truck camper magazine discovered their source.:)

One of many firsts by SnowRiver/ He called them the Command Seating option

You could have one to four of them...

Thread inspired me to go to the web site. 1165 only weighs 4738 #s, site states for F-350 dually and larger trucks, outside image is on a srw. Funny stuff.
Seems like a round the block way to get Class A features. WOW what a load, don't think those three slides would be happy on a rough road back country route.

We have them in our EC 1165 and love them.
I had the jack knife sofa in it when we ordered it and when it was back to the factory for slide issues we had them replace the jack knife with the theater seating and love them

They do not recline like my lazy boy at home but they do kick back a little and the leg rests are awesome for relaxing and watching TV.

I am 6' tall and 240lbs

I think you will be pleased!!!

HMMM, I like that idea.

I am looking for at TC with some comfortable seating also.....It does seem like a waste of space in a TC to have a sofa and a dinette area.
