sacmarata says that all ranchers are using diesel only, WRONG. My family owns 25000+ acres and run several thousand head of cattle. We are moving from diesel to an ALL gas fleet of work trucks for the hands, as an analysis has shown a significant savings and the modern gas trucks will do ANYTHING a diesel will do, as far as ranch work goes. Yes, diesel does have a place, but it is NOT as broad today as it was yesterday.
