- pawpaw47ExplorerI also have one and don't know why I waited so long to get it. In my opinion it makes handling the heavy, awkward hitch MUCH easier.
- scbwrExplorer IIl have one and it makes carrying the hitch much easier. It creates a handle that is located where the weight is balanced and keeps the hitch away from your body. I find it easier to slide in the hitch a few inches, remove the pin, then slide in the rest of the way and secure with pin.

Unfortunately for you until you have and use one you can't and will never appreciate it's value so I can see why you couldn't figure out the point as you have admitted to. I have one and it makes installing and removing that heavy hitch head and drawbar much easier and safer because of the ease of use, the way you can use two hands to lift and control the head when installing/removing it from the receiver. Plus it makes carrying/moving the hitch head/drawbar a simple task
I highly recommend it.

Bill - Army11BravoExplorer IIYes! I bought mine off Amazon two seasons ago and love it. It's certainly not a necessity, but my wife and I can move around our heavy weight distribution hitch far easier and without getting grease on our hands.
I have shown it to many camping buddies and after they use it once, they buy one for themselves. I highly recommend it, especially if you remove your hitch often as I do.
