Wrong, the tech 2 will reprogram for available ratios and a 3.73 is an available option.
My direct experience with this is that it cannot be done, or more correctly, I could not do it with the Tech 2 in my hands. I could fix the tire sizes for the available sizes, but the axle ratio change was not available. And the tire size options didn't fix the speedo. If your direct experience is different than mine, I concede. As far as the OP is concerned I would make sure the reprogramming is in writing on the quote to avoid surprises.
