I have 2010 Chevy 5.3/6spd/3.42 and it also has drum brakes in the rear! Only the NHT truck w/ the 3.73 has discs.
Check out www.GM-Trucks.com as there are a few dealer techs over there who may be able to confirm the void warranty craziness! Also a GM csr is a member as well who could possibly confirm it.
What is the new trailers listed ccc? Do you think you will end up close to the tt gvwr?

What is "NHT"?
The trailer's CCC is about 1400#. I don't expect to use all of that so I should not be about 500# shy of the RV's 7550# GVWR.
