Anyone considered installing a real door inside?

Your dog must be feeling a lot of stress to be doing what he knows he should not do. Could you get a sheet to put on top of your bed during the day and pull the curtain back so he does not have to do it himself?
When we left our cat we pulled the blinds up and laid his blanky where he could watch for us.
