Anyone else taking off with their TC for Turkey Day?

I'm not going far, only about two hours. I could use a guest room but I prefer to BYOB - Bring Your Own Bed. For some reason I never take friends or relatives guest rooms, I always prefer my TC.

I'm taking my Traeger and making a 15lb prime rib. I absolutely LOVE my Traeger, and it fits in the TC's basement storage--AND they play quite nicely with an inverter. I'll post pics when I'm back.

  • We are heading to Zion National Park for 2 nights in Watchman Campground.

We'll do Turkey day first at the house so we can watch the Cowboys and Indians fight it out on the big screen.

TC is already loaded, fridge is running on shore power. Just unplug and drive!
  • Heading off to Blackbird state Forrest in Delaware for some whiskey tasting with the guys around a fire..
    Men's weekend.

  • Planning on heading to the mountains Friday morning. Just don't know where we are going to go. A snow park somewhere for some snow shoeing far away from most folks
  • Some of my best Thanksgivings were spent on the NC beaches in my camper with my family. We would grill cornish hens on the beach and pretend they were little turkeys....Thankful for all the memories
  • No overnighting this holiday. I'm back to work on Friday.
  • I am with you Boatycall! Love using my camper for holidays. Only way to go. We are traveling about 2 hours and staying the night there before returning home for the Apple Cup. Go Dawgs!
