First you don't suppose to set the cruse control going downhill with the trailer behind.You suppose to use the tow mode and watch the speed and the RPM gauge and pressing on the brake to slow the truck down.Diesel engine don't like high RPM.I think that the computer throw a code because of the high RPM.
