I doubt any damage was done to the transmission.
You should have the engine checked and the code read at the dealer, so they can figure out what happened and what, if anything, needs to be done.
When in doubt, drive the old fashioned way, with your head and your hands/feet. Brake and shift according to what the road conditions, speed and load require.
These new trucks have lots of fancy stuff, but one of them is not Autopilot!
