The batteries and battery management system are from Manzanita Micro in Kingston, WA. Manzanita builds for racing cars and very high power drainage so that the BMS is not ideal for RVs. We did test the system with both a/c and microwave on and were drawing 3 kW from batteries. Son Cary plans to contact Manzanita about a different controller/BMS.
There is no warranty
When you wrote "...1200 amp hours of AGM would be eight 6 volt Lifeline AGMs and would weigh 720 pounds..." are you talking about 1200 amp hours at 12 V or at 6V. Advertisements on line indicate about 0.8 lbs of battery per amp-hour of storage.
