The battery set is 16 x 180 AH cells at a nominal 3.2V each. These are packed 4 in series per battery at a nominal 13.4V per set. There are four of these battery sets in series for a nominal battery set of 54V at float (which means the battery sets are actually about 13.5V each with each individual battery around 3.375V.) I just looked at the Manzanita battery monitor to get these numbers. The monitor gives the voltage of all 16 sub-batteries and the voltage of the entire system, which is 54.5V at this time. I can not attest for the absolute accuracy of the battery monitor.
I was told that the sub-units were approximately 40 pounds each or 160 pounds total. However, we did not weigh them as son Cary installed them and they might be closer to 50 pounds each or a total of 200 pounds. It is still a weight savings of 500 or more pounds. 700 to 1000 pounds of batteries in a large motor home might be viable but not in an 8500 pounds dry weight fifth wheel.
