Four Lifeline GPL31XT AGM batteries which are 12V 125AH and 76 pounds each would give you 6000 watt-hr maximum, 3000 watt-hr useable at 50% drain 1000 cycles, 304 pounds.
If you could be happy with 500 cycles you could get 4200 watt-hr out of them according to Lifeline cycle specs.
Cost is about $1500 with free shipping from powerstride.
50 cycles a year would be using your camper about 5 to 10 times a year which probably is well above average. After 10 years there will probably be a newer better tech.
And what is your voltage going to look like at 70 DOD??? I'd bet some more sensitive inverters and such won't like it
So if you're willing to go deeper on the AGM, why not on the LiFePO4? That being the case a decent BMS for the cells will run ~$150 or less so:
4 - 300 Ah Winston cells @ 100% DOD (still well over 500 cycles availble) + BMS = $1410
- 3600 Whr
- 90 lbs (including rigging to make it a pack - 84.4 lbs cells only)
- roughly 16"x10"x12" (including rigging - 14.1"x8.8"x12" cells only)
4 - 400 Ah Winston cells @ 100% DOD + BMS = $1910
- 4800 Whr
- 130 lbs (including rigging to make it a pack - 120.0 lbs cells only)
- roughly 20"x12"x11.1" (including rigging - 18"x10"x11.1" cells only)
