Anyone knowledgeable on the Aisin (Ram) 6-speed?

PS - Getting a Sterling worked on is not easy anymore. The main Sterling service center was NorthSide Ford, and they won't do Sterling warranty work anymore. I left it at the nearest Freightliner dealer, but they don't have parts or tools for it so it has to go to Freightliner in Portland (not a bad thing, and they are shipping from the dealer in Salem). First thing the service writer said was "That has an Allison, right?"
